Our client is looking for a Staff/Senior Software Engineer to join their team in New York, NY.
Compensation: $150-200k
Within this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and extending the trading and account management infrastructure to support and delight tens of thousands of their clients transacting millions of dollars a day. From adding support for new financial products and accounts types, to building the automated portfolio management system, to handling thousands of daily messages to keep accounts in sync, you'll be touching the core infrastructure of their systems that enables everything else. You'll work closely with Engineering Management and other members of the engineering team to ensure the continued stability, scalability and security of firm's systems. You'll also work cross-functionally with design, product and customer experience teams to deliver delightful experiences that have never before been seen in a financial product.

Qualifications:
- A strong technical background including > 5 years building applications using JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience leading / mentoring engineers
- Experience working with complex, real-time external APIs
- A desire to get better everyday
- An ability to work in a fast paced environment with subject matter experts from across the company
- A strong sense of responsibility and integrity
