CX SAP Reporting Lead

Our client is looking for a CX SAP Reporting Lead to join their team. This role is remote. 

Major Responsibilities

  • 10 year+ of SAP CX including at least 8+ year on SAP S/4 HANA and SAP reporting with full SDLC experience to implement solutions, including core template design / build / validation, roll-out and support
  • 10+ years of leading data strategy, data management, data governance, data modelling, and analytics in a large complex data ecosystem with domain expertise with utilities environments
  • Development experience using SAP C4C reporting tools, data workbench, and layout design
  • Experience in SAP C4C custom reports, data sources and broadcasting
  • Responsible for delivering reporting solutions in the areas of SAP Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
  • Analyze requirements and aid in designing functional solutions to meet business reporting goals, objectives and functional/non-functional requirements in alignment with SAP best practices
  • Define characteristics to restricted key figures, work centers, report views and reports to role assignment
  • Good understanding of the C4C functional/objects model to address questions from CRM and Integration with technical teams
  • Designs, tests, and debugs Customer Experience reporting objects with standard reports, custom reports and interactive dashboards
  • Work with other team members and leaders, proactively identify and mitigate/resolve risks and issues
  • Develops scripts for data merging and migration, and assist in the development of standard and custom reports to internal and external systems including Power BI
  • Documents all functional processes, requirements, flows and diagrams; develop appropriate requirements, design, testing and deployment documentation to support the solution delivery for the reporting workstream
  • Identifies tasks and interrelationships to evaluate functional and cross-functional requirements
  • Assists in day-to-day operations as troubleshooting problems arising from regular use, production support, and maintaining the business needs for operations, analytics, and key metrics
  • Provides the operational support for developing and maintaining the enterprise information reports related to CX applications including On Premise & Cloud
  • Work closely and be in alignment with IT, other project and legacy architect(s) and business team.
  • Drive and address any critical production issues which have been escalated to the project team post production while balancing new project delivery
  • Provide recommendation for technology optimization/tuning. Lead performance enhancement initiates once solution in production
  • Drive and perform products/new technologies/solutions proof of concept and evaluation


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent plus minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including minimum 10 years in IT with all SAP & industry leading reporting tools such as Power BI
  • Certification in any SAP C4C modules (sales, service and marketing) with analytical skills
  • CX reporting admin with 10+ years of experience in multiple SAP cloud applications (C4C, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and SEW (SMART ENERGY WATER)).
  • Multiple project experience with C4C reporting experience is preferable.
  • Reporting experience in the areas of: Segmentation to Campaign, Lead to Quote, Install to Meter, Request to Resolve, Lead analysis & opportunity management analysis.
  • Works in coordination with JDE systems and understands the integrated SAP landscape with other applications
  • Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, and defining support procedures
  • Experience with Quarterly upgrade process, upgrade testing, system refresh from the production environment
  • Familiar with Integration between C4C, Service Cloud and S/4 HANA using CPI
  • Familiar with SAP business processes for utility industry is a must
  • Familiar with other reporting tools and native SAP reporting tools
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines, resiliency, and infrastructure agnostic deployment
  • Strong analytical skills and algorithmic problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated history of building credibility with stakeholders to drive and implement organizational change, and maintain strong relationships throughout the organization, and collaborate with other departments, teams, and suppliers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
