Tableau Developer

Our client is seeking a Tableau Developer to join their team in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities:

• Draw upon a full range of Tableau features to design, develop, enhance and support visualizations in including, but not limited to, highly interactive dashboards, scorecards and reports
• Effectively utilize features and best practices of Tableau and visual analytics to maximize impact and utility of visualization products
• Acting as mentor and Tableau SME for other Tableau developers in the team
• Defines, executes and interpret complex/nested SQL queries
• Work with the team to define standards and best practices for dashboards and related technologies
• Create Tableau scorecards, dashboards using stack bars, bar graphs, scattered plots, geographical maps, line/pie graphs and Gantt charts
• Build prototypes for demonstrations and illustration purposes

Skills:

• 5+ years' experience in Business Intelligence and Relational Database Management System (RDMS)
• 5+ years' experience as Tableau developer
• Experience working with a central repository
• Experience working with Oracle, SQL and PostgreSQL databases
• Strong understanding of Software development lifecycle
• Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills
• Solid understanding of Agile Project Management methodologies
• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
