Customer Experience Test Analyst

Our client is seeking a Customer Experience Test Analyst to join their team in Red Bank, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

  • Test employee-facing and customer-facing website, mobile, and tablet integrated solutions including experience with cross browser testing concepts and tools and mobile device testing and validation
  • Analyze manual and Automation testing cloud WCM and CRM systems that are fully integrated with other business systems and middleware (Informatica preferred)
  • Ensure web pages are on brand (content and design consistency) including brand voice, testing web UI, and experience editing and proof-reading content
  • Web content operations including content tagging, SEO and on-site search, workflow, governance, indexation, page properties, and redirect mapping
  • Work with stakeholders, product owners and engineers to understand complex systems and interfaces to determine efficient analysis and testing approaches and mapping to business requirements for traceability purposes
  • Write, execute and maintain both manual and automated test cases for functional and regression testing which requires translating both simple and complex business rules to easy to understand test cases and ensure that released applications meets agreed-upon requirements and can be mapped for traceability purposes
  • Manage and report test results which will require clear and concise documentation and an ability to conduct root cause analysis and communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Maintain test sandbox environments to include managing test data, configuring systems for specific test needs, and monitoring issue reports
  • Work with the Agile team to identify testing strategies for a planned release including but not limited to end-to-end testing, performance testing, and functional testing as well as ensuring acceptance criteria area are achieved
  • Help with the delivery of backlog items by supporting the testing activities on the development team
  • Help establish a consistent feedback loop for the development team around quality related changes as required. Includes defining and helping to validate non-functional and functional test scenarios
  • Help analyze and diagnose incoming user feedback including leading UAT and user testing. This includes understanding new requirements as enhancements or changes, diagnosing defects, and assisting in the resolution of defects and or system problems
  • Develop and maintain critical regression tests to ensure changes to products or data sources do not adversely affect existing data quality and loading processes
  • Develop and execute a plan to identify, collect and load necessary test data to effectively run test cases with the ability to schedule and automate jobs to be run in a batch process

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Web Content Management, Digital, and CRM, QA, and Technology Domain
  • 4+ years of experience with QA functional responsibilities and technical domain experiences
  • Experience testing applications on the Salesforce Platform or SAP CRM or HANA Platform and related testing APIs, must have worked one full implementation (end to end) cycle minimally
  • Experience testing applications on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Sitecore Experience Manager and related testing APIs, must have worked a full (end to end) implementation cycle
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC - Feasibility Requirements Analysis, Design, Testing, Implementation, Support) and Agile as well as Waterfall
  • Experience in preparing daily test status reports to communicate the test status within an onshore/offshore team
  • Familiar with source code, version management, and code deployment/devops standards
  • Experience writing test plans and test cases, and documenting software defects and anomalies
  • Experience with at least one of the following project and QA tools – JIRA, Team/SharePoint, Test Suites such as HP Quality Center, Zephyr, or Selenium
  • Experience with at least one or more programming or scripting languages (e.g. SQL, Java, JavaScript, Unix, XML)
  • Experience with configuration management/build management procedures
  • Strong communication skills, self-starter, detail oriented, and initiative driven
  • Understanding of the utility industry is preferred
