UAT Tester

A financial firm is seeking a UAT Tester to join their team in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

• Manage UAT project activities, action items, meeting notes, and decisions
• Analyze existing system requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit full, complete requirements for any upcoming releases, system bugs, or required change request/system enhancements
• Support any documented requirement end-to-end from requirements elicitation to production support
• Support the User Acceptance Testing as part of the end-to-end process of seeing requirements through to completion
• Train and assist users of the system
• Review and prepare UAT test cases, test scenarios, and data requests for testers
• Validate and stage test data
• Execute UAT Test Cases
• Track and upload test cases into HPQC/ALM
• Document and track system defects
• Assist in tracking enhancements/change requests
• Maintain internal communications processes, standards and practices

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field
• Strong communication skills
• Motivated, self-starter who can independently handle tasks with little oversight
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task effectively in a high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient with SharePoint, HPQC/ALM, Excel, Word, MS Project and PowerPoint
• Able to work well under pressure
• Able to quickly take on new tasks and complete it within deadline
• Strong follow-up skills; accountability for role and responsibilities
• Able to handle highly sensitive and confidential data with utmost discretion
