A national consulting firm is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, directing and coordinating the appropriate life cycle phases for implementation and support for one large or multiple small projects
  • Coordinating resources, schedules, task assignments, project plans, and often performs systems analysis
  • Serve as the primary contact with user groups and systems management
  • Provide advice on methods and recommends changes in project management processes, standards and strategies
  • Provide resolution of major issues and manage project interdependencies and handoffs
  • Manage overall project communication and resolves issues
  • Lead the preparation of business case, cost/benefit analysis, contingency planning and risk assessment
  • Oversee the development of recommendations regarding systems or process design solutions and process improvements
  • Serve as a technical, subject matter resource for systems and business line staff

Requirements

  • Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of relevant project coordination experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; Specifically, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills; Must be able to provide advice and resolutions regarding changes or issues in project management strategies and processes
  • Experience coordinating resources, schedules, and project plans
