Senior Servicenow Admin-Developer

A financial services company is seeking a Lead ServiceNow Administrator. You will help drive all development efforts for the ServiceNow initiative and will focus on design, administration, development and enhancement of key modules. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in the design/development, integration, test, implementing and supporting all aspects of Service Now and Xmatters applications.
  • Responsible for the requirement analysis, design, development, upgrades, enhancements and customizations of different modules of ITSM suite. 
  • Manage overall Incident and Problem management flow processes and build new templates
  • Help automate day to day business processes using ITSM applications
  • Created transform maps for importing data, automatic field service mapping and scripting.
  • Responsible for all scripting changes
  • Assist in planning and monitoring of work schedules
  • Provide support during and after hours for all ITSM escalated issues and upgrades.
  • Attends conferences, seminars and ongoing technological training as needed
  • Serve as SME internally

 

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience of ServiceNow administration/developments 
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Service Management process design
  • General understanding of ITIL best practice, ITSM foundation certification is a plus.
  • Strong development background on ITSM, ServiceNow (Geneva, Fuji etc.),
  • Strong Java scripting, HTLM, SOAP, MID server customization/integration
  • Strong Database knowledge, programming knowledge of Perl, Shell, C, C++, JAVA
  • Operating system knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Window Servers
  • Bachelor degree of Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent certificate and experience
  • ITSM foundation certificate, ServiceNow administration certification
