Production Support Analyst

A leading financial services technology firm is seeking a strong Production Support Analyst.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve all technical issues related to the product
  • Measure and analyze incoming software issues to determine root causes and develop technical and training solutions to minimize re-occurrences and severity and report results to manager.
  • Support internal first level support team in the installation, upgrades, use, and error resolution for the trading product.
  • Accurately document all customer issues, resolution steps, and gather feedback in support tracking software to enhance identifying and reporting trends leading to recurring technical problems.
  • Ability to grasp and understand how to handle all back-end scheduled jobs for the Order Management System.
  • Responsible for ensuring a fully functional trading system at start of day.

Qualifications

  • Strong production support skills
  • SQL scripting skills.
  • Server Administration, Win2003/ 2008/2012 and SQL 2005-2016.
  • Experience with Ethernet, TCP/IP and routing        
  • Excellent troubleshooting / problem solving skills. 
  • FIX protocol knowledge / experience       
  • Experience with real-time Equity Trading systems.
